Centri-Tilt® The CENTRI-TILT® holding system is available in two types - the CTC-1 with 4 ¼" overall diameter, and the CTC-2 with 6 ¼" overall diameter. A two-axis tilt system, mechanically suspended by means of an inverted ball swivel from a two-way shift centering system, allows for accurate alignment. The system corrects for and eliminates electrode mis-alignment and runout, to within .0001" over a 4" length. Both systems operate independently, but are cross-linked to prevent any rotary motion. Finely pitched thumb screws allow fine adjustments. Positive mechanical locking of both systems creates high rigidity. The system works equally well in stationary or rotary conditions. A variety of electrode holder sizes are available to accept standard electrode holder shank sizes and tooling system chucks. A full line of mounting adapters are available to fit most mounting requirements.
