The rotation provided by the Rotobore® system assists in the flushing of debris and assures that the hole produced will be perfectly round. The Rotobore® is a complete rotating spindle system for any vertical ram or wire EDM machine. Class 7 bearings provide extremely high rotational accuracy. This allows EDMing of both small and large, perfectly round and straight holes to extremely tight tolerances. Accurate centering and alignment of electrodes to within .0001" over 4 inches are provided by a unique built-in centering and tilting system, the Centri-Tilt®. The Centri-Tilt® provides a two axis tilt mechanism to obtain electrode parallelism to the ram and a two way shift centering mechanism to eliminate electrode runout, regardless of the size of the electrode.
